Vincent Ledvina is a Space Physics Ph.D. student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and completing a graduate certificate in Space Weather and Environment Science at Millersville University. His research focuses on the mechanisms responsible for magnetic substorms as well as leveraging participatory science techniques to study rare auroral phenomena. Vincent is an intern at the Aerospace Corporation and was recently appointed as a student representative for the Space Weather Advisory Group, a federal advisory committee serving the White House. Off-campus, Vincent runs an aurora tour company in Fairbanks, Alaska and is a science communicator to a large audience on social media.
