Through communicating the beauty and importance of aurora science and space weather, my goal is to encourage young people to join heliophysics and the efforts to make society more resilient to space weather impacts.

Vincent Ledvina is a Space Physics Ph.D. student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks studying the aurora and space weather. His research primarily focuses on auroral beads and substorms as well as collaborating with aurora chasers to investigate rare auroral phenomena. Vincent is also an intern at the Aerospace Corporation and student representative on the Space Weather Advisory Group, a federal advisory committee for the White House. In his free time, Vincent loves to travel, chase the aurora, and is a diehard Green Bay Packers fan.
