NASA SciAct Affiliate for SACNAS

NASA SCoPE invites early career scientists to apply to be a NASA affiliate.

The NASA SciAct Affiliate for SACNAS Program

To encourage broader participation in the educational outreach efforts of NASA's Science Activation teams, we provide funds that support travel to the SACNAS NDiSTEM Conference each year for up to ten (10) early career researchers engaged in NASA-sponsored research, and preference given to those who identify as members of Chicano, Hispanic, Native American, Native Pacific Islander, and/or Alaska Native communities. These selected NASA SciAct Affiliates for SACNAS agree to participate in a communications workshop held Friday, October 25, 2024.

The NASA SciAct Affiliate for SACNAS travel funding, up to $2,000/person, is a one time opportunity intended to foster engagement of these new early career scientists with the NASA SciAct community.
