Jordyn Robare
PhD Candidate
Arizona State University

Jordyn is a Ph.D. candidate at Arizona State University where she studies biogeochemistry from a thermodynamic perspective. As a NASA FINNEST recipient, Jordyn focuses on modeling cell membrane lipids and how they change between different environments and how this relates to their thermodynamic stability, so that these principles may one day be applied when interpreting lipid biomarkers on Earth and beyond. Jordyn has enjoyed field research on hot springs in Yellowstone and aboard the JOIDES Resolution at Atlantis Massif. Jordyn also models energy supplies and organic stability in these environments and on ocean worlds.
