Gus is a 2nd-year physics PhD student at the University of New Hampshire doing research in physics education. He double majored in physics and astronomy at the Pennsylvania State University, graduating with honors in 2024. He is passionate about improving science education through the development of novel, discovery-oriented learning activities that utilize innovative learning technologies. His current work involves designing abstract visualizations of electromagnetism concepts in immersive Virtual Reality, and designing and testing curriculum for VR-based laboratory activities
