At this meeting [I hope] to deepen my understanding of effective professional development practices for educators by learning from the experiences of past SCoPE awardees. Attending this AAS conference is a high priority not only for advancing my Seed Grant project but also for my professional development as a future Principal Investigator, scientist, and mentor.
