Cristina is a cognitive scientist currently serving as research faculty in the Collaborative Robotics and Intelligent Systems institute at Oregon State University. Her research looks at new ways robots can collaborate with human teammates to support science missions on Earth and other planets. Her work anticipates a future where scientists and robot field assistants work closely together to explore their environment, collect data, and test hypotheses.
