Arizona State University

Benjamin is a Planetary Science PhD candidate at Arizona State University in Jim Bell's research group, focusing on impact cratering physics, volatiles like water ice, and planetary surface processes. His research includes analyzing crater depth-to-diameter ratios on Mars to detect subsurface ice and investigating the formation of rampart craters with fluidized ejecta. Previously, Benjamin interned at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, studying the Moon's regolith layer through Cold-Spot Craters. Additionally, he explores binary M stars, brown dwarf companions, and conducts telescope spectroscopy of Jovian moons. Benjamin enjoys teaching and his goal is to become a research scientist and professor.
