Andrea S. Bryant is a planetary scientist, astrophysicist, artist, science communicator, and Chicago native. She is currently a Provost's STEM Postdoctoral Fellow in Brown University’s Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences. She received her PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago in Spring 2024. Her research interests lie in using computational tools to study the habitability of worlds with subsurface and surface oceans, with a particular focus on the role that interior structure plays. Her dissertation focused on Titan seismology, where she conducted seismic investigations of Titan's interior using full waveform modeling—specifically examining methane clathrates and surface wave seismology.
