I am especially interested in pursuing new ways to bring current research into outreach, so as to create closer ties between the classroom and cutting-edge science.

Postdoctoral Scholar

Ana studies planetary climate, focusing on potentially habitable worlds that contain water. Her past work has included studies of icy moons in our solar system that conceal large liquid oceans beneath their ice shells, as well as theoretical studies of Earth analogues to help us better understand the fundamental physics that control all planetary atmospheres including our own. Currently, she is focusing on the climate of Earth-like exoplanets orbiting low-mass stars, which are immensely promising targets for detecting habitability in the near future.
